Simpel rules

This is just a short "Tutorial" for warhammer 40.000 all "roles" described in this tutorial means dice roles
in warhammer you usually use dices with 6 sides also known as D6 .

Fire warriors are infantry, means they move six inches or 6".

The Fire warriors have a WS of 2, WS means weapon skillan that means how skilled they are with thier weapons in close combat. In close combat you first role to hit WS against WS and then to wound S against T more details below.

The Fire warrios have a BS of 3, BS means Ballistic skill means how skilled the unit is with thier weapons at shooting when a unit has a BS of 3 you have to role 4+ to hit at range (if subtract  7-3 you will get 4 so you have to roll 4+ to hit your target at range) subtract the BS withe seven will allways work. (Warning) not all units that have a Ballistic skill does have ranged weapons norrmally it says if and what weapon they use.

S means Strength and are the same for weapon and unit, means what  force the unit or weapon have when hits somthing a Vehicle or unit.

T means toughness, when you want to determine if a unit suffer a wound you roll S vs T following a special concept .

W means wounds and that means how much fire the unit can take before it dies/removed.

I means Initiative, that is imporntet in close combat because it showes how fast the unit striks, The unit with the highest Initiative striks first if the both units have the same Initiative the assulting unit striks first.

A means attacks it says how many  dice the  you may role in close combat .

Ld means Leadership If a unit has  lost a combat or lost 25% of its unit it must take a leadership test you  roll to dices and if the score is higherthen the leadership the unit retreats 2D6 to the closest tabel edge.
